As the man boarded the crowded bus, he found himself seated next to a stunning young mother cradling her fussy infant.
The mother’s patience wore thin as she attempted to coax her baby into breastfeeding.
With a weary sigh, she warned her baby, “If you don’t start sucking soon, I’ll have no choice but to give your milk to this gentleman beside us.”
Despite her efforts, the baby remained stubbornly uninterested in nursing.
The mother’s frustration mounted with each passing minute. “You’re testing my patience, young one,” she admonished her child. “One more chance, and if you don’t start feeding, I’ll hand your milk over to this man.”
Desperate to quiet her fussy babe, the mother persisted in her attempts to initiate breastfeeding. However, her patience dwindled as the baby continued to fuss and squirm.
In a final, stern warning, she declared, “This is your last opportunity. If you don’t stop being fussy and start nursing immediately, I’ll have no choice but to give your milk to this gentleman next to us!”
Exasperated, the man finally interjected, “Miss, with all due respect, you must make a decision soon,…”
“I was meant to get off three stops ago!”
