A feller buys himself a big ol’ 200-acre ranch out in the country. One day, not long after he settles in, he’s just kickin’ back on his front porch when a pickup truck comes barrelin’ down the one dirt road to his house, screechin’ to a halt.
“Howdy, neighbor!” hollers the pickup driver. “Name’s Bill! I’m livin’ next door, thought I’d swing by and give you a good ol’ Texas welcome to the neighborhood!”
“Well, thanks a bunch, Bill. Mighty friendly of ya,” drawls the man.
“My pleasure,” Bill says. Then he adds, “Listen, reason I’m drivin’ over here is I’m throwin’ a shindig this Saturday, and I sure would love for ya to join. It’s gonna be a real humdinger – there’ll be eatin’, drinkin’, some hootin’ and hollerin’, and plenty of good ol’ fashioned fornicatin’ – I guarantee it’s gonna be a blast!”
