Sister Mary Margaret woke up to the sight of the rising sun and realized she was running late.
In a panic, she threw on her clothes and rushed down to the morning prayers.
As she hurried past Sister Agnes, a mischievous grin spread across her face. “Well, well, well, someone got up on the wrong side of the bed today,” Sister Agnes teased, unable to resist.
Sister Mary Margaret rolled her eyes, slightly annoyed, and hurried along.
But her bad luck wasn’t over yet.
Sister Martha caught sight of her and couldn’t help but join in the fun. “Looks like someone got up on the wrong side of the bed today!” Sister Martha chuckled, unable to hold back.
Now even more irritated, Sister Mary Margaret raced towards the prayer room.
Just as she thought she couldn’t take any more jokes, she crossed paths with Sister Elizabeth.
Sweat dripping down her brow, she warned, “Don’t you dare say ‘Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed today’ or I’ll give you a good slap!”
Sister Elizabeth simply grinned and replied, “Oh no, dear sister, I wasn’t going to say that,”…
“I was just wondering why you’re parading around in the bishop’s slippers!”
