Suddenly, he pipes up and demands two witnesses and a camcorder to capture his final wishes.
With all eyes on him, he starts divvying up his empire.
“Bernie you get the Mayfair houses. Sybil the east end apartments are all yours. Jamie take those fancy-pants offices in the City Centre. Sarah my love, you get all those gorgeous residential buildings by the river.”
The nurse and witnesses were gobsmacked.
They had no idea he was such a property tycoon!
But as Doug took his final breath, the nurse praised his hardworking nature.
Sarah, on the other hand, had a different take:
“Property?!” she exclaimed. “The old buzzard had a paper route!”
