Mark and Tom are playing a round of golf on a sunny afternoon, and they find themselves on the 14th hole. 🌞⛳
As they line up their shots, a funeral procession slowly drives by on the road next to the course. 🚗⚰️
Mark, who is about to take his swing, suddenly stops. He removes his hat, places it over his heart, and stands silently as the procession passes. 🎩💔
Tom is bewildered. “Mark!” he exclaims, “What’s the deal? We’ve played on this course for years, and countless funerals have driven by. This is the first time I’ve seen you stop playing to pay respect to the dead.”
Mark looks at Tom, nods solemnly, and says, “Yep, but we were married for 23 years!” 😂
Tom’s jaw drops as he realizes the depth of Mark’s gesture. “Wait a minute,” he chuckles, “you’re telling me that’s your wife’s funeral?”
