A man and a woman who had never met before, but who were both married, found themselves assigned to the same sleeping cabin on a trans-continental train 🚂. Though initially embarrassed and uneasy about sharing a cabin, they decided to make the best of the situation. He took the upper berth, and she settled into the lower berth.
As the night wore on, the train chugging steadily along, neither of them could fall asleep 🛏️. By 1:00 AM, they were both still wide awake, aware of the other’s restlessness.
Finally, breaking the silence, the man said, “I’m really sorry to bother you, but could you reach into the closet under your bed and get me a second blanket? I’m freezing up here 🥶.”
The woman thought for a moment and then replied with a mischievous tone, “I have a better idea. Just for tonight, let’s pretend that we’re married 💑.”
His mind raced with excitement and anticipation, “That’s a great idea!” he exclaimed, feeling a sudden surge of arousal.
“Good,” she responded with a grin. “Get your own f’ing blanket.”
